This second flush Darjeeling is of absolute top quality from one of the most famous tea gardens in Darjeeling.
The area where the garden was established is close to the border between India and Nepal and the teas have been produced organically from as long ago as 1995.
The leaves for this harvest have been picked in the summer and brew a highly fragrant and slightly nutty tasting cup.
The infused tea is very clear and bright and appears light-golden.
The Pure Tea team visited Seeyok in 2009 for 2 days. We were very impressed with all their teas as well as the management of the plantation.
