Tie Guan Yin is one of the most famous Chinese Oolong (semi fermented) teas.
Our tea comes from the garden Wangjia located in the northern part of the province Fujian.
Tie Guan Yin is a green produced Oolong.
The tea has a unique flowery taste with a touch of orchid fragrance and develops a bright green cup colour.
Before drying the dark green leaves of Tie Guan Yin are rolled into small pearls.
During the infusion the pearls uncurl and show the beautiful unbroken whole tea leaf.
Recommended Preparation: 12g (about 5 heaped teaspoon to 1 litre, 90 ° C hot water. Brewing time: 2 minutes.
