Bancha is a gentle green tea drunk by the Japanese every day.
It is popular due to its refreshing taste and lower caffeine content.

Bancha is produced from the slightly larger leaves.
Our Bancha is rather unusual for being harvested in early summer. The tea develops a light green-yellow cup colour with a mild taste.

Preparation recommendation

Tee Tasse Recommended preparation: 10g tea leaves (about 5 heaped teaspoons) to 1 liter of 80 ° C hot water. Brewing time: 1 minute. Re-brew by pouring hot water on the still warm leaves (3-5 infusions possible) and brew for 30 seconds.
