A beautifully produced Assam leaf tea with a strong spicy taste yet a slightly sweet, malty finish.
The tea is grown on the small estate of Tonganagaon, part of the Tinsukia district located in the North east of India between the river Brahmaputra and the namdapha nature reserve.
Unusually for an Assam, the tea has a very fine leaf with lots of golden tips, a definite sign of a high quality Assam tea.
10g of tea leaves (approx. 5 heaped teaspoons of leaves) for 1 litre of freshly boiling hot water. Brewing time: 3 min. Assam tastes great with a dash of milk or cream and brown sugar crystals to your liking.
